He started his legal career in 1992 at Simmons & Simmons working in London, Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong. In 1998 he joined JP Morgan as general counsel to the private banking and asset management businesses in EMEA; he went on to serve as head of the Wealth Advisory business for JP Morgan Private Bank in South East Asia and London, and became a member of the related global management committee for JP Morgan Private Bank. In 2004, Edward founded his own business in London, engaged in domestic and international legal, investment and advisory work. He advises many prominent families and family offices on their global activities, sits on the board of a number of private charities and has an active interest in Biotech venture capital. He holds a degree in Law from the University of Warwick and is admitted as a solicitor in England and Hong Kong.
